Should I Take Painkillers?

Should I Take Painkillers?

With pain, a very natural step is the take painkillers but is this good for us?

I say AVOID painkillers if at all possible and let me tell you why.

Its all in the word (Painkiller)- its job is to kill pain. It’s not fixing the problem behind the pain.
This becomes an issue when you go about your life with the pain numbed and you could be doing more harm but not know about it. Then, when the painkillers wear off, your pain could be worse!

Painkillers are not good on the system. The chemicals in them are not supposed to be in the body. They tend to have some nasty side affects. A lot of people will find taking too much of them upset the stomach too much or make them very drowsy. You just don’t know what harm its doing to your body.

Now I’m not saying don’t take painkillers ever. If the pain gets to an unbearable point, they will help. But taking painkillers for any small ache/pain is not good.

Sometimes the pain is so bad that you just need to take them and it helps take away the edge.

So in essence, don’t take them unless you really feel like its necessary.
