Kinesiology Tape

Having been using this tape for a long while now, I felt it was time to write an article about it.
What is Kinesiology Tape?
It’s basically a flexible stretchy tape that is applied to injuries mainly to ease pain. We have all seen many sports stars local and international wearing this tape. It comes in many colours and can be applied almost anywhere on the body.
How does it work?
Because of the stretch in the tape, if applied properly, it will lift the skin and fascia off the body easing the pressure and allowing inflammation to leave and fluids to move more freely.
Does it work?
From the tape I have applied to my patients, my family and myself, YES.
This tape does work. It has eased many pains from tendonitis to lower back pain and many more. I find it very effective.
